The goal of the rebrand for Storyblocks was to take the existing brand, Videoblocks, and to elevate it from cheap stock resources. By rebranding Storyblocks as an all in one destination for aspiring creatives, it changed the perception of the offering. The brand became about providing the foundational tools to help tell a complete brand story, affordably. Primitive shapes and primary colors were used to support the idea of telling a story from the ground up. Simple elements creating rich stories.

S marks the spot

The S logo shape becomes a vehicle for showcasing the breadth of the brand. It takes the primitive shapes of the mark and uses them as a window to present assets from each sub-brand. The goal is to capture the energy and expression that provides the new brand it's new look and feel.
